Spain has seized 11 ancient artifacts from Ukraine worth around $60 million worth of gold jewelry from the Scythian period, dating back to the eighth and fourth centuries BC, from which three Spanish nationals and two Ukrainians, including an Orthodox priest, were arrested in Madrid. The artifacts were believed to have been smuggled out of Ukraine before May 2016. Most of the artifacts are displayed at the Allard Pierson Museum in Amsterdam.
